Process

How a project runs

  1. Brief

We talk through the brief, the audience and what the images need to achieve.

  2. Your files

Send whatever you have: CAD, DWG, floor plans, sketches, mood boards or photos.

  3. Clay draft

I block out the scene and share a clay render so you can confirm camera, composition and scale early.

  4. Build

Modelling, materials, lighting and animation, all in-house.

  5. Review

A work-in-progress preview for your feedback before anything is finalised.

  6. Delivery

Final files in the formats you need, with revisions included.

About

One artist, the full pipeline

I'm Francesca, a 3D artist based in Kent. I trained across the full CGI pipeline at Bournemouth University's National Centre for Computer Animation (NCCA), ranked the UK's No.1 visual effects school in The Rookies Global School Rankings 2022.

Modelling, lighting, rendering, animation and compositing all happen in-house. Nothing is outsourced and nothing gets lost in handover. Because I'm on UK time, calls can happen the same day, and you'll see the direction early rather than only at final delivery.

Questions

Before you send your file

Is the free render really free?

Yes. Send your CAD or plans and you'll get one finished, photoreal still within 48 hours. It's yours to keep and use, with no obligation to buy anything. I take on 5 free renders a week, so they go first come, first served.

What files can I send?

For products and machines: STEP or IGES exported from any CAD package (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, Rhino and so on), or OBJ/FBX. For architecture: DWG, PDF plans, SketchUp or Revit. Big files are easiest as a WeTransfer, Google Drive or Dropbox link.

I don't have CAD. Can you still help?

Yes. I can model from technical drawings, photos and dimensions. The free render is based on CAD or plans, but send me what you have and I'll tell you what's possible and give you a fixed price.

Is my design kept confidential?

Always. I'm happy to sign your NDA, or send mine, before you share anything. Just tick the NDA box on the form. Unreleased work never goes in my portfolio without your permission.

Who owns the final images and films?

You do. You get full commercial rights to use the finished images and films in your marketing, sales material, listings and website.

How many revisions are included?

You approve camera, composition and timing at the clay stage, where changes are quick, and every package includes two rounds of revisions on the finished renders.

How long does a project take?

Your free render arrives within 48 hours. Still packages usually take about a week, and animations two to three weeks, depending on complexity. You'll get a firm timeline with your fixed quote.

How does payment work?

You get a fixed price in writing before any work starts, with no hourly billing. And with the no-risk promise, if the finished image isn't good enough to put in front of your customers, you don't pay.

Your free render

  • Free, no strings. One finished still from your CAD or plans, yours to use however you like. Limited to 5 a week.
  • NDA first. I'll sign one before you share anything. Just tick the box.
  • The no-risk promise. On paid work you approve the clay render before I add materials and lighting. If the finished image isn't good enough to put in front of your customers, you don't pay.
